Mothers are the sweetest gift from Gods to us. There is no way we can ever really thank our mother for all she does for us nevertheless we must make it a habit to keep reminding ourselves of the various sacrifices she made while raising us

Mothers’ Day is the best time to say in words how much you love and care for your mum.
Drop your Well Wishes for Your Mum!!! God Bless them for Us and keep us Alive and Wealthy to Put Smiles on their Faces.

3 Steps To Activate 'God-Mode' On Your PC

Enter God-mode and tweak anything on your computer like a real guru!

Do you know that Windows computers have a hidden "GOD MODE" folder which offers a user a centralised and easy to navigate Control Panel for all of the OS settings?
To enter GOD MODE:
  1. Create a new folder anywhere. I did mine on the desktop.
  2. Rename the folder to this exact name (copy and paste it): God Mode.{ED7BA470-8E54-465E-825C-99712043E01C}. The folder icon will change to a Control Panel-style icon
  3. Jump in and change all the settings you want from the list there.  Inside the God Mode folder, you will see a list of all possible program tasks and you won’t have to stumble around the confusing regular control panel again.
God mode makes it easy for even the most ‘un-nerdy’ of users to tweak everything on a computer, from desktop background to setting up a VPN or adjusting mouse settings - in one folder!
Note that this works with Windows 8.1, Windows 8, Windows 8 RT, Windows 7, Windows Vista and others but don't try it on Windows Vista 64-bit as it's known to cause a reboot loop!

4 Websites To Compress Images And Retain Quality

Save your precious megabytes and keep your images sizes small without making compromises in terms of image quality!

...You’ve just taken a picture of Genevieve and Kaycee kissing at the beach and want to upload it on your blog instantly. But there’s a snag...the picture is 3.5MB and you have only 2MB left on your data plan. Damn!
Yes, it’s important to keep our images small in size but it’s also damn hard to do so without compromising the quality.

These easy-to-use sites will help you achieve both and you don t have to install anything on your device.
1. TinyPNG.com
As its name says, TinyPNG.com is just for PNG files. It uses smart lossy compression that preserves full alpha transparency to make PNG files (max size of 5MB) smaller, without much visible loss in quality – the difference is most times difficult to spot.
To use it, drop your PNG on the dedicated space on the website or click the space and upload. Once uploaded, the site works its magic and you can download the end result with a very large difference in file size.

2. Webresizer.com
This supports GIF, JPG and PNG formats and uses lossy algorithms to decrease image size and allow you to crop, sharpen, change width and height, adjust contrast, brightness, saturation, or even add tint, exposure or contrast.
You can also decide the amount of quality loss you’re comfortable with (in the case of JPG images).

3. CompressJPEG.com & CompressPNG.com
These are related sites with same interface and both allow you to process a queue of up to 20 files at a time, with drag-and-drop and Select Files options.
CompressJPEG can compress BMP and PNG files, CompressJPEG convert to JPEG first while CompressPNG.com supports BMP, ICO, GIF and JPG files.
Start by clicking the Upload queue. After your files have finished uploading, click the thumbnail of the image you want to adjust to compare the original and the compressed image.
After that, click Compress.

4. Smush.IT
Smush.it is owned by Yahoo! and compresses JPG, PNG and GIF images, without damaging them.
In the Uploader tab, choose the images you want, and then click Smush. After processing’s done, you’ll get a results screen with details underneath it.
You’ll be able to download your optimized images as an archive, or click the link in the ‘details’ table.
If you want more comprehensive web image editing, try the Google+ Image Editor, which can also add HDR effects but requires Chrome for desktops and app on Android devices.

Total MessKenyan Girl Sleeps With 300+ Men And Infects Them All With HIV

Did she do it as a revenge for what a man with HIV did to her?

A Kenyan woman (picture side & above) has confessed she's slept with more than 300 men in revenge for a man she claims raped and infected her with HIV at a party back in 2013.
According to the Kenyan Daily Post, The woman, who remains anonymous, shared her story through her Facebook page Kenyan Scandals saying,
"I'm 19 and a 2nd year here at Kabarak University in Nakuru. I joined this college a virgin; though I've had boyfriends before, my parents are strict so having sex was never on my mind."
After a visit to a club late 2013, her story changed apparently. She told the press,
"Sept. 22nd 2013 is a day I’ll never forget. We went clubbing in town and got drunk with some senior students then went back [to] the hostels for party round 2."
But she woke up naked the next day to a man named Javan.
According to the article, Javan responded he used a condom for the intercourse but the woman claims she discovered sperm near her vagina while taking a shower.
"I wanted to commit suicide" she shared, "I feared getting pregnant [and] having HIV. I took contras [and] hoped I was HIV-free. Unfortunately, that was not the case: In November I tested HIV [positive] and I felt like cutting off my neck. My future has been ruined and somehow someone had to pay."
Javan on the other hand claimed he was HIV negative.
She reportedly began exacting revenge by sleeping with as many men as possible. To date, she claims, she has slept with 324 men. She told the press,
"Not a day passes without me having sex, mostly 4 people per day. Nothing will stop me from accomplishing my mission by continuing to sleep around, you never know but maybe you have slept with me or your husband, boyfriend, brother, father or any has slept with me."
She plans on infecting up to 2000 men with the virus before the end on 2014, according to XNaija
Like the saying goes, "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned?" If she can sleep with 300+ men from September to March, what would happen by December?

Confirmed!Godwin Emefiele Confirmed As New Central Bank of Nigeria Governor

The Senate on 26th March confirmed Godwin Emefiele as the new CBN governor to replace Lamido Sanusi.

After the long Sanusi versus Jonathan's saga, Zenith bank boss Godwin Emefelie has been confirmed as the new CBN governor by the senate. The senate approved the appointment on 26th march after his appearance before lawmakers that was broadcast live on television.
According to Senate President David Mark “Emefiele will ensure the prerequisite responsibilities of the Central Bank governor without fear or favour.”
Godwin Emefelie will be replacing Sanusi who was suspended by President Goodluck Jonathan on February 20, days after he had accused the state oil company of embezzling $20 billion (14.5 billion euros) of public funds.
Sanusi had been respected among international economists and was appluaded for  repairing our crumbling and  corrupt banking sector and stabilising the currency.
Some Nigerians see his suspension as a politically ploy by our leaders on him for trying to expose the corruption in the country. The new governor is not a popular figure.
Would he perform better than Sanusi or is he just another "political figure" chosen by our leaders?
What do you think about the Sanusi saga?

Is Talk Cheap? Nigerians Spend N447.8bn On Recharge Cards Monthly’

11 Is Talk Cheap? Nigerians Spend N447.8bn On Recharge Cards Monthly’
A workshop organised by the Nigerian Communications Commission, NCC, weekend, to educate Nigerian Legislators on some intricate parts of telecom business/investments, incidentally exposed that Nigerians make a massive monthly investment of over four hundred billion naira on recharge cards alone.

This whopping sum, may have demystified the age long clichĂ© that ‘Talk is cheap’. Besides, the investment on recharge cards, surprisingly dwarfed the ones made on House Rent, Petrol, Kerosene and electricity –options, known to have squeezed the economies of average Nigerians for several decades.
From the statistics of an ICT expert, Mr. Gbenga Oyebode of Aluko &Oyebode law firm, Nigerians spend 149.1bn on House rent, 128bn on Petrol, 144.8bn on Kerosene, and 91.8bn on electricity monthly.
At the workshop themed: “ICT infrastructure as key driver for economic development: what role for the legislature?” Oyebode reeled out these figures to postulate the impact of ICT infrastructure on economic development.

However, he noted that “a study by the Organisation for Economic Co-operation and Development, OECD, shows that broadband penetration contributes significantly to economic growth. But notwithstanding all of the potential of ICT to GDP, Nigeria still lags behind due to insufficient development of ICT infrastructure. Today, broadband penetration is estimated at 6% in Nigeria.
Another facilitator and Principal Partner, Kayafas Konsult Ltd, Mr Stephen Bello, also echoed Oyebode’s view that broadband is at its infancy in Nigeria with less than about 2% of the population having access to it.
He however added that the cost is still exorbitant even for corporate bodies. “We are still far from ITU targets which recommend that 50% of citizens and 40% of households by 2015 should have access to broadband.

However, the recent policy framework and spectrum auction by NCC are designed to boost broadband availability in Nigeria.”
Meanwhile, the Executive Vice Chairman of the NCC, Dr. Eugene Juwah while briefing the legislators at the workshop said that the Nigerian National Broadband Plan seeks to promote broadband deployment, increase broadband adoption and usage, and ensure the availability of broadband services at affordable prices. Juwah argued that the effect of this would be an increase in competition in the industry, a downward impact on prices, and improved quality of services to subscribers.”

The workshop also provided operators the opportunity to give their perspectives on the Open Access Model of the NCC, meant to deepen broadband penetration. In a paper titled:Broadband and Infrastructure development in Nigeria: Operators’ perspective of the Open Access Model, Executive Officer, MainOne, Ms. Funke Opeke, contended that “operators have had a mixed reaction to the Open Access model. Large, incumbent operators with most of the existing infrastructure have not been very enthusiastic about the plan. Since open access will drive convergence of infrastructure costs to a common benchmark, it will become increasingly difficult to gain benefits from proprietary infrastructure, higher tariffs, which make it difficult for new entrants/smaller players to participate in the telecoms value chain in Nigeria. Currently, the bigger you are, the more you can maximize value across the entire value chain, from value added services like ring tone, content distribution, to network connectivity services, corporate connectivity, Internet service.”

She also added that “open access implies barriers to entry will not be as high and thus new players could come into the market if they think they can do better without having to build out and replicate the infrastructure owned by any of the big boys. Smaller players are excited at the opportunity – but daunted by the challenges and need support. The example of Superflux is a good one. Indigenous entrepreneurs that are raising money locally will need support if we do not want to stifle their growth. This is a proven model in other parts of the world, so we need government to support them.”

Joseph Tegbe of KPMG, also made a case for the Open Access Model. Based on the various challenges in the country and the trend of deployments in other jurisdictions, he sought to convince the lawmakers that the Open Access Broadband Deployment Model is suited for Nigeria as it wouldthe gaps in broadband deployment, through the deployment of new fibre and leveraging existing fibre infrastructure;available the new network infrastructure and services to all telecom operators on a fair and non-discriminatory basis at a regulated price; minimise duplication of rollout and unnecessary environmental impact; Help realise the objectives of the National broadband plan with a minimum broadband speed of 1.5 Mbps to the general population; Facilitate faster and wider broadband penetration nationwide andsharing of infrastructure.

The 2014 Edition of the yearly UTME examination is here again! In few days time , the academic future of over 1 million Nigerians will be decided. Mass failure was recorded in Last year’s Exam and this has lead to an increase in the number of applicants this year. As the ”D-Day” draws closer, NG scholars has decided to share some tips On how to Successfully Prepare For UTME Exam.

Scoring a high mark in the UTME exam is not as difficult as most students think it is , it all depends on your ability to prepare well and heed to simple instructions. This tips will guide you on how to prepare well and achieve success in your UTME exam.

•Overcome Your Fear: :O one of the main reasons why students fail their UTME exams is because of FEAR! They’re not really afraid of the exam itself, what they are actually afraid of is FAILURE!!. They’re afraid of the consequences that awaits them if they fail they exam. As a student , if you really want to pass the UTME exam , then you must overcome your fear!!. Look at the UTME exam as a roadblock between you and 10million naira, remove that entity of fear in you and push that roadblock out of your way to glory!!

•Study Everyday :Researches has shown that 60% of Nigerian students don't read , which has been one of the major reasons why the Nigerian education sector has continued to dwindle. The brain can give out information ONLY when you input data in it , so the more you read the more knowledge you get and that improves your chances of passing an exam. As a student , study hard and prepare well for your exam. Forget all the luxuries and focus more on imputing data into your brain!. Spend at least 4hours of your day reading , read according to JAMB’s syllabus and focus more on areas where questions are most likely to come from.

•Answer Past Questions :Get past questions of the previous years and try to answer them. Get familiar with their question asking pattern. Every past question has a 3/5 chance of been repeated. Doing this will help you a lot.

•Work More On Your Question Answering Speed :You don't have all day to answer a question!. Jamb gives you limited time to answer a question , therefore , it is essential for you to work on your question answering speed. On average you have about 60seconds to spend on a question. Spending more than 60seconds would slow you down and leave you lagging behind. Don't delay yourself on a question , if you didn't get the answer to a question , skip it and move on to the next question. You can always go back to the ones you didn't do.

•Picking The Right Answer :This is where students fall into jamb’s trap. The UTME exam is one of the most Tactical exams in Nigeria. Its is very tactical but yet easy. The answers are somehow look a- likes. You have four options A B C D , and out of those 4 A And B looks Correct. The real answer is staring at you but you’re too blind to see it!. What do you do in this kind of situation? If you’ve really prepared (read a lot) then it becomes easy for you. In this kind of situation , the first thing to do is to eliminate!! Eliminate the incorrect answers and leave your self with the ones that are most likely to be correct. After that , look carefully at the options once more and try to relate them to the question that was asked.

You’ld definitely find one that corresponds to your question , pick that one as your answer!

Mr Christopher Alabi,President, Chrisgate International, has warned students partaking in the 2014 Universal Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) not to rely on their individual intelligence but rather improve their level of smartness and speed while answering questions.

Mr Alabi who spoke to students at the the 10th Success summit that attracted over 2,000 youths held in Lagos.

Giving reasons why students should acquaint themselves with the computer and embrace the CBT, Olarewaju said it will facilitate release of their results on time. According to him, “Since computer has reduced the world into a global village, everyone needs to be computer literate as JAMB must not remain stagnant in the global trend.

His words: ” The CTB has advantage over the paper- pencil test. If students can use their phones to browse and perform other functions, they can also successfully do the computer based test exams. CTB is able to give you correct result without error. It is a way of making students to be ICT compliance.

Chris Brown taunted in jail over Rihanna beating

According to reports, other prisoners are giving Chris Brown hell in jail for attacking Rihanna

From Hollywood Life
"One inmate said in passing ‘you a b***h for hitting Rihanna,’” a source close to the situation exclusively reveals to HollywoodLife.com. Chris is doing his best not to listen to the banter, however, it does make him “extremely upset” when he hears such sentiments.
“They be saying other stuff too, like ‘you ain’t no rapper, you’re a whack R&B singer,’” the source continues. “They’re in there trying to break him down.”

Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji, and indigenous rap star, Olamide, are engaged in a bitter Twitter fight.
The bone of contention from all indications appears to have been provided by Linda Ikeji. The blogger had earlier reported a story that Olamide’s long-term girlfriend and baby-mama, Aisha is allegedly pregnant with another child.
Olamide however insists that the story is false, claiming that he is not yet a father, and that Linda’s story is unfounded and untrue. Fans of both parties have taken sides right now, with many tweeting in support of their camps.
Linda is notorious for getting into the bad books of celebrities, mostly due to what they term as ‘untrue or fake reporting’. Earlier this year, she had a bitter quarrel with Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson.

BOKO NL2 UPDATE:Surviving Girls Describe Horrors Of Boko Haram Camp [WARNING: VIOLENCE]

The BBC Hausa service has aired an interview with two young Nigerian females who managed to escape from Boko Haram captivity and later gave a graphic account of the dreaded sect’s operations.

Janet’s Story:
Janet, 19, narrated how a group of terrorists invaded the Gwoza Local Government Area of Borno State and started slaughtering people in front of her. Then, they ordered the girl to slit one man’s throat. She refused, and the group leader’s wife did it instead.
Janet was taken to a house where she cooked for the terrorists. When they went to fight soldiers in Gwosa, they took her with them. She says she could hear bullets flying over her head in all directions.
The Boko Haram insurgents usually hide in the hills and caves, making it difficult for the Army to spot them. Janet says she saw Nigerian Army solders a few times, but they failed to spot the terrorists’ hideouts, which were located mainly along the Liman Kara and Gwoza axis.

As the insurgents suspected she had AIDS, they allowed her to seek medical attention, and she was able to break free.

The Coordinator, Joint Admissions and Matriculations Board (JAMB), Lagos office, Alhaji Kamaldeen Oladeji, on Monday said all was ready for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME), scheduled for April 12.

Oladeji in Lagos said that 11 centres accredited for the Dual Based Test and the 103 venues for the Paper Pencil Test in the state were ready.

He said that the board was yet to compile the total number of centres to be used for the Computer Based Test (CBT) mode of the examination.

“As you may know, the CBT registration is still ongoing, having been extended till March 31.

“We are yet to decide the number of centres we are going to use in Lagos for this mode of the examination, scheduled for May 17.

“The board has given out over 4,000 free compact discs to candidates for the examination, to be used as guide.

“We usually give out two discs, with one containing past questions and the other a practical demonstration on how to operate the computer during the examination,” he said.

Oladeji urged candidates who had not collected their discs to come to the Lagos office of JAMB with evidence of their e-registration slips to collect theirs. (NAN)
Students of Solomon Lar University Bokkos, Plateau, on Tuesday staged a protest over the killing of a student of the institution by gunmen suspected to be cultists.

The two other persons were injured in the attack carried out on a shop in Ndar village near the university around 8.45 p.m. on Monday.
The aggrieved students took to the streets of Bokkos in protest, saying it was “wicked killing“ of their colleague.

The spokesman of the Military Special Task Force (STF), Capt. Salisu Mustapha, confirmed the incident.
He told NAN that the two injured persons had been taken to Jos University Teaching Hospital (JUTH) where they were responding to treatment.

“The unfortunate attack on Ndar village took place around 8.45 p.m. on Monday by gunmen suspected to be cultists.

“During the attack, a level II student simply called Jonathan was shot dead while two other persons sustained serious gun-shot wounds, “ the spokesman said.

Mustapha said the task force had begun investigations into the incident to tracking down the culprits.
He said no arrest had been made and called on the students and other members of the university community to be calm.

Mustapha urged them to go about their normal businesses as normalcy had since been restored to the area.

Also speaking, Mr John Agams, the Public Relations Officer (PRO) of the institution, told NAN that the deceased was staying off campus.

He said the deceased had gone to a shop to pick his laptop which he earlier kept for charging when he fell into the hands of the gunmen.

“We learnt that the gunmen were after the lady that sells in the shop but who had reportedly hidden when she learnt of the arrival of the gunmen. “He was shot as he attempted to open the door of the shop.

“The gunmen, who reportedly stormed the village in two vehicles, might have mistaken him for the shop lady who, we learnt, had hidden herself on noticing the presence of the gunmen, “ he said.

Agams called on the students to be calm.
The PRO said the students should allow the university authorities and security operatives to investigate the unfortunate incident.

According to him, the university would do all it could to ensure that justice was done on the matter which had interrupted academic activities of the institution.

He expressed gratitude to the STF for its prompt intervention in curtailing the situation.(NAN)

10 Tips To Improve Your System Speed – 95% Faster [Must See]

Slow Computer 10 Tips To Improve Your System Speed 95% Faster [Must See]

Always take the Follow Precautions below:-
1. Let your PC boot up completely before opening any applications.
2.Refresh the desktop after closing any application. This will remove any unused files from the RAM.
3. Do not set very large file size images as your wallpaper. Do not keep a wallpaper at all if your PC is low on RAM (less than 64 MB).
4. Do not clutter your Desktop with a lot of shortcuts. Each shortcut on the desktop uses up to 500 bytes of RAM
5. Empty the recycle bin regularly. The files are not really deleted from your hard drive until you empty the recycle bin.
6. Delete the temporary internet files regularly.
7. Defragment your hard drive once every two months. This will free up a lot of space on your hard drive and rearrange the files so that your applications run faster. To defragment your hard drive go to my computer icon on the desktop and right click it then go to manage options, there you will see “Disk defragmenter”. Click it then analyze and defrag your drives. You can also defrag your drives using third party software like AVG PC tools,Disk Defragmenter etc.
8. Always make two partitions in your hard drive. Install all large Softwares (like PSP, Photoshop, 3DS Max etc) in the second partition. Windows uses all the available empty space in C drive as virtual memory when your Computer RAM is full. Keep the C Drive as empty as possible.
9. When installing new Softwares disable the option of having a tray icon. The tray icons use up available RAM, and also slow down the booting of your PC. Also disable the option of starting the application automatically when the PC boots. You can disable these options later on also from the Tools or preferences menu in your application.
10. Protect your PC from dust. Dust causes the CPU cooling fan to jam and slow down thereby gradually heating your CPU and affecting the processing speed. Use compressed air to blow out any dust from the CPU. Never use vacuum.

Extra Tip:- Keep your Desktop Screen as Clean as Possible, Deleted Unwanted Software and Keep Only Need Icon on your Desktop.

How To Minimze Data Consumption On Your Android Phone Using DroidWall App
Since the usage of android smartphones began to go on the increase in this part of the world due to cheap android phones pushed into the mobile market, one question I regularly get in forms of mails and comments on this blog is “How To Minimize the data bundle consumption rate of android phones“.
There are a whole bunch of reasons why Android devices tend to consume a lot of data, and as a result incur you more cost for your data charges than any other Phone OS which might range from getting updates automatically over the air (OTA), remember that most free apps you make use of on your android phones run ads as a means of compensation or would I rather say the developers little way of sustaining the freebie project. So this can really help push up your data usage to your detriment.
Enough of those reasons, the reason you are on this page is to put an end to the rate at which your data is been consumed on your android phone, and that’s exactly what I’ll be explaining.
Have you wondered if there is a way to blacklist apps you don’t wish to allow use your data subscription or an app that can help you only white-list your desired apps you want to access your data resources? Well, that’s what DroidWall does.
droidwall2 How To Minimze Data Consumption On Your Android Phone Using DroidWall App
This app helps you set up a white-list of apps you wish to allow access your data subscription simply by ticking some check-boxes next to your desired app in the user interface of Droidwall when launched.
