University of Jos UNIJOS hereby invites candidates
who scored 180 in JAMB UTME and chose University
of Jos as thier choice University to participate in
the Computer Based Post-UTME Screening Exercise
for the 2014/2015 Academic Session. Each
candidate shall, on registration, be scheduled for
the screening which will hold as from Monday, 14th to
Saturday, 19th July, 2014.
By this announcement, registration has now
commenced and will be on until 19th July, 2014 for
the online registration of candidates who have
chosen the University of Jos as their choice.
NOTE: The payment link will be available as from Monday 7th July, 2014 Eligibility All candidates who made the University of Jos their choice and also scored 180 marks and above in the 2014 UTME JAMB examination.
HOW To apply for UNIJOS Post-UTME 2014
(i) Each candidate shall pay a non-refundable fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000.00) only for the screening and for accessing their results. Payment shall be made online at the University of Jos website by using ATM (Verve & MasterCard) cards of any bank enabled for web-based payment. NOTE: The payment link will be available as from Monday 7th July, 2014 (ii) Thereafter, a receipt number and a confirmation order number will be issued for online registration. (iii) Log on to www.unijos.edu.ng for the registration procedures and proceed with registration. (iv) Registration for the Post-UTME screening is only concluded when the scheduling of the venue, date and time of the test is automatically generated for each candidate. (v) Candidates should print out the schedule slip which must be brought along for the screening exercise. (vi) Candidates are to come to the venue with copies of their JAMB result slip and the schedule slip only. You are advised to go with your original JAMB result slip with passport on it. If you don't have this document, (vii) A demonstration of the computer based test may available on the University of Jos website B. Venue: Multipurpose Auditorium, Bauchi Road Campus, University of Jos, Jos. Time: The computer based screening shall commence at 8:00am daily.
C. General Instructions (i) Candidates are expected to be at the screening centre, one hour before the scheduled time allotted to them. (ii) Any candidate who fails to come for the screening exercise will automatically forfeit the chance of being considered for admission. (iii) Withholding information or provision of wrong information will lead to instant disqualification. (iv) Candidates are strongly advised not to come to the screening centre with any electronic device such as GSM Phones, iPods, iPads, bags, etc., as these items will not be allowed inside the screening hall. (v) Parents, Guardians and other unauthorised persons are not allowed within the screening venue during the Post-UTME screening. (vi) The University of Jos does not condone any form of examination malpractice. Offenders shall be handed over to the law enforcement agents for prosecution in addition to being disqualified. D. The Scheduling of the screening is as follows: (i) Monday, 14th & Tuesday, 15th July, 2014 – For candidates who applied for courses in the Faculties of: Medical Sciences, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Natural Sciences, Environmental Sciences, Education Sciences & Technology/Rehabilitation Sciences. The following subjects will be examined: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics & Chemistry. (ii) Wednesday, 16th & Thursday, 17th July, 2014 - For candidates who applied for courses in the Faculties of: Social Sciences, Management Sciences & Education Social Sciences/Management Sciences. The following subjects will be examined: English Language, Mathematics, Economics & Government. (iii) Friday, 18th & Saturday, 19th July, 2014 – For candidates who applied for courses in the Faculties of Law, Arts & Education Arts. The following subjects will be examined: English Language, History & Government.
